The “Balakhani-Sabunchu-Ramana” field has been operated by the branch of “Balakhani Operating Company LTD” in the Republic of Azerbaijan since 01.01.2012. It should be noted that in June 2010, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), SOCAR’s “Joint Oil Company” (ONSH) and Singapore’s “UQE-Lancer PTI. Ltd” signed an Agreement on “Restoration, Development and Distribution of Production of the Block, which includes the Balakhani-Sabunchu-Ramana and Kurdakhani oil fields of the Republic of Azerbaijan”. “Balakhani-Sabunchu-Ramana” blocks of deposits are always recorded as one deposit due to their close proximity to each other. At present, the “Balakhani”, “Sabunchu” and “Kurdakhani” fields, as well as a small part of the “Ramana” field are the contract territory of the Balakhani Operating Company, and the rest of the “Ramana” field is the contract territory of Azgerneft LLC.
