Surakhani oil operating company is engaged in the development and restoration of Surakhani and karachukhur deposits
The field is developed by “Surakhani Oil Operating Company SA”. On August 16, 2005, between the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), SOCAR’s “Joint Oil Company” (ONSH) and “Rafi Oil FZE” (UAE) company, the “Surakhani oil field of the Republic of Azerbaijan” was signed. “Agreement on Restoration, Development and Production Sharing of the Block” was concluded. According to the agreement, the “Surakhani” field has been operated by the branch of “Surakhani Oil Operating Company SA” in the Republic of Azerbaijan since 02.06.2006.
